Cubik strengthens its Lean offering with the acquisition of Operae Partners.

Cubik, backed by Sparring Capital since 2021, pursues its development and consolidation strategy in operational excellence sector with the acquisition of Operae Partners.

Founded in 2007 and led by Marie-Pia Ignace, Operae Partners is a consulting and training firm specializing in lean management, with a focus on Information Systems functions. The company works with the Director of Information Systems (DIS) of large corporates, helping them implement continuous improvement plans for IT products and services.

After the acquisition of By.O in February 2024 — a consulting firm specializing in the sustainable transformation of large companies’ procurement — this new partnership allows Cubik to strengthen its operational excellence offering in an IT vertical that had not previously been addressed by the group, and to achieve nearly €30 million in revenue.

The Group supports its clients (SMEs, mid-sized companies, major accounts) in both operations and responsible purchasing, bringing together over 120 consultants based in Paris, Nantes, Toulouse, and Lyon.

Olivier Cornut, Président de Cubik, déclare : “We are delighted to welcome the Operae team, with whom we share a similar corporate culture. We have long known Operae, and their expertise in IT gives them strong credibility in the market. Our discussions about the project have already enabled us to leverage commercial synergies, which we expect to accelerate.”

Marie-Pia Ignace, founder of Operae, indicates : “I am excited to integrate Operae into Cubik group, which shares our DNA, our client-focused philosophy, and will enable our teams to engage in a long-term project.”

Alexandre Beau, Partner at Sparring Capital, adds: “The acquisition of Operae is an important step in building a leading player in performance improvement. The group continues its strategy of consolidating the consulting and training professions in operational excellence, enhancing its relevance to large accounts.”
